WHY BORICLAWS ACADEMY
At Boriclaws Academy, we are proud to be the ONLY trade school in the state of Washington that specializes exclusively in Nail Technology. We are also the first nail-focused school in the state to offer a hybrid training program, combining flexible online learning with structured, hands-on in-person practice.
Our NAIL TECHNOLOGY program includes:
- 250 hours of theory completed through our Virtual Dashboard
- 350 hours of in-person training at our Puyallup, WA location

- 150 hours of theory completed through our Virtual Dashboard
- 350 hours of in-person training at our Puyallup, WA location

Step 1: Book a Virtual Student Interview
Book Virtual InterviewYour first step is to schedule a virtual student interview through our platform. You will recieve an appointment confirmation email and your interview linkreceive via Zoom. This allows us to learn more about you and ensure our program aligns with your goals.
During your interview, we’ll cover:
- What to expect from our hybrid program
- Weekly schedule and practical requirements
- Tuition, kits, materials, uniforms and financial options
- Your career goals and how Boriclaws Academy can support you.
Students Under 21 – Parent or Guardian Sponsorship
If you are 21 years old or younger and enrolling under parent or guardian sponsorship, we strongly encourage them to attend your interview. This helps ensure all expectations and financial details are clearly understood from the start.
Step 2: Registration & Licensing Setup
Once your interview is complete and enrollment is approved, our team will:
- Guide you through registration.
- Assist with setting up your Department of Professional Licensing (DOL) account.
- Confirm your cycle assignment and disclose policies along with regulatory contracts and permissions.
- Confirm your tuition payment agreement and financial aid disclosures.
- Ensure you are fully prepared to begin your program.
Step 3: Orientation Day & Program Completion
Your first day of school begins with Orientation Day. This is your official start at Boriclaws Academy and an important foundation for your success.
On Orientation Day, students will:
- Meet and greet their classmates
- Receive their class schedule
- Review the chapters and curriculum they will be trained on
- Go over practical procedures and performance requirements
- Meet the Boriclaws Academy staff and instructors
Following orientation, students will complete:
- All required theoretical hours
- All required practical, hands-on training hours
- Supervised skill evaluations and performance benchmarks
Once all program requirements are successfully completed, students will participate in graduation, marking the completion of their training and readiness for licensure.
